“Chez Monsieur” Restaurant

Here chandeliers that Chez Monsieur (previously Royal Madeleine) draws the gourmet landscape Madeleine district. The story starts at the beginning of the century. First “bougnat” for coal, wine and coffee, it gentrified just after the war to become a restaurant.

Christmas Market

The Christmas Market of the Champs-Élysées is back with some 200 white wooden cottages that add to the magic of the world by offering crafts, sweets and snacks. This year the Christmas market on the Champs grows and extends to Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées. That is a real Christmas Village on the Champs-Elysées.

Exhibition – Garry Winogrand – ” Le jeu de Paume”


The Jeu de Paume presents the first retrospective for twenty-five years, of the great American photographer Garry Winogrand (1928-1984).

Famous chronicler of America’s post-war Winograndis still poorly known, so he left to be done – at the time of his premature death – in archiving, development and printing of his photographs. However, it is undoubtedly one of the masters of American street photography, alongside Evans, Frank, Friedlander or Klein. Famous for his photographs of New York and life in the United States since the 1950s until the early 1980s, Winogrand wants to know “what things look like when they were photographed.”

The “Garry Winogrand» exhibition put together the most emblematic photography of the artist and unpublished prints taken from the archive footage, largely unexplored, the end of his life.

It provides an overall view of the rigorous course, and for the first time, covers the whole of his career.

Show “An American in Paris”  - Théâtre du Chatelet

This is the event of the end of the year in Paris:  the Théâtre du Châtelet presents in world creation its first coproduction with Broadway, “An American in Paris”, inspired by the movie in 6 Oscars of Vincente Minnelli (1951). It is the first time for the movie of Minnelli, extract from a symphonic poem of Gershwin, is adapted to the stage, and since West Side Story, in 1957, that a leading choreographer is invited to coordinate ballets but also to stage a musical of Broadway.
